The snowshoeing for beginnerse is a proposal designed to bring you closer to the high winter mountains in an easy and fun way.

This activity, designed for all audiences, is organized every weekend from December 28, 2023 to March 31, 2024. In addition, it will be available during weekdays: from December 28 to January 7 and from March 25 to 31. In April, it will also be available on the weekend of the 6th-7th.

Includes:

Uphill rack railway from Ribes Enlace station at 8:30 or 10:20 depending on option and downhill rack railway at 16:25.

During the activity: the services of a guide, rental of snowshoes and poles and accident insurance.

Programme 1: (activity at 10:00 a.m.)

• Ascent with the rack railway at 8:30 am from Ribes link, arrival at Vall de Núria at 9:10 am.
• Meet in front of OXINEU in Vall de Núria at 10:00 and start the activity.
• Descent with the rack railway at 16:25h and arrival at Ribes station at 17:05h.

Programme 2: (activity at 12:30)

• Ascent with the rack railway at 10:20am from Ribes junction, arrival at Vall de Núria at 11:00am.
• Meeting in front of OXINEU in Vall de Núria at 12:30 and start of the activity.
• Descent with the rack railway at 16:25h and arrival at Ribes station at 17:05h.

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 7 years old.
• Individual equipment: Warm clothes, gloves, hat and suitable footwear.
• Essential: Minimum physical condition to walk for two hours in mountain terrain.
