Events

A whole series of events that make it a very complete day: on the night of August 31 we celebrate the revetlla of Sant Gil, with vespers mass, torch procession and campfire with the traditional dance with Amadeu and his accordion.

The day of Sant Gil, September 1, begins with a good breakfast of shepherds, the ballad of sardanes, the commemorative mass, and the procession to Sant Gil, to end with the display of hunting dogs.

Thursday, August 31

• 12.15 pm: MASS
• 8:00 p.m.: FIRST VESPERS OF SANT GIL
• PROCESSION TO SAN GIL
• 10.30 p.m.: CAMPSITE AND BURNING RUM with MUSICAL EVENING with Amadeu & Cia (in front of the Sanctuary-Basilica)

* At the end of the evening, there will be a special uphill transport to go to the hostel

Friday, September 1

• 9.15 a.m.: SHEPHERDS' BREAKFAST in front of the Ermita de Sant Gil
• 10:30 a.m.: SARDANES – Cobla de La Nova del Vallès
• 12:00 p.m.: SOLEMN MASS - Presided over by Archbishop Joan-Enric Vives, Choir: Santa Maria de Ribes de Freser
• At the end of the Mass: PROCESSION TO SANT GIL
• 3.30 pm: EXHIBITION OF ATURA DOGS
• 4.30 p.m.: THEATRICAL GUIDED TOUR
