We propose a circular route to fascinate you!
Next Sunday, September 18, you have an appointment in Vall de Núria. If you are in love with the passage of history, take note!
We propose the following circular arch route, by Josep Maria Palet.
- Route south along the GR11 from Vall de Núria to Coma de Gombrèn (2,160 m). Visit to the livestock site with occupations from the Roman period to the modern era. Duration 45 minutes (easy difficulty)
- Circular route from the Coma de Gombrèn to the Forat de l’Embut along the old cattle track (2,350 m). Duration of 60 minutes (height difference of about 200 m, medium difficulty)
- Visit to the Cova del Catau de l'Ós (2,250m), Forat de l'Embut and the site of Coma de l'Embut (2,275m) of Neolithic chronology. Duration 60 minutes (easy difficulty)
- Return to the Vall de Núria resort along the Camí del Puigmal. Duration 45 minutes (easy difficulty). Estimated time of arrival 2:15 pm.
It is recommended to bring the following:
- Mountain shoes
- Hat and sun protection
- Rain protection
- Winter clothes
Meeting at the rack railway station in Vall de Núria (elevation 2,000 m) at 10.15 am.
Itinerary: combination of archeological routes 1 and 2 of the Capçaleres del Ter and Freser Natural Park.
