  • Sustainability at the forefront

    Vall de Núria works on an advanced environmental policy to guarantee the protection of the environment through the Ecovall project, an initiative aimed at improving the resort's ability to adapt to climate change and defining new strategies for the conservation and sustainability of infrastructures. What are the objectives of this project?

    • Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
    • Use of geothermal energy and construction of a mini-hydroelectric power plant to eliminate heating oil
    • The Rack Railway train eliminates access to the valley by private vehicle
    • Progressive replacement of diesel vehicles with electric ones

    TORGO characteristics

    Made exclusively for Ferrocarrils, the TORGO not only improves the mobility of the resort but also becomes the emblem of a resort that is being transformed into a zero-emission space.
