The must-see date for any mountain runner!
The Clàssica Olla de Núria, which this year reaches its 15th edition, allows participants to enjoy an incomparable mountain setting that has made it a reference in the sector.
The runners will have to cover 21.5 km and will never step on the asphalt. 72% of its route is above 2,700 m, which translates into incredible views of the high mountains. The classic Olla ascends to the Puigmal, at 2,913 meters, to end up descending from the Pic del Segre, 2,809 m, passing through the Coll de Finestrelles, control of the passage of the race, continuing the ascent to the peak of Finestrelles, 2,827 m, and following the neck and peak of Eina. After passing the Noufonts peak, there is the next checkpoint at the Coll de Noufonts, 2,651 m. Finally, there is the ascent to the Noucreus pass, 2,799 m, and ending at the Puig de Font Negre 2,727 m and the Pic de l’Àliga, 2,472 m, reaching the esplanade in front of the Sanctuary. The accumulated difference in level is 3,880 m.
This Classic Race is a very demanding self-sufficiency race due to its technical difficulty. L’Olla was born with the aim of presenting itself as an international race that defends and vindicates the role of Catalan sport in the world.
